Audience measurement
We count which pages get read ourselves — on our own server, without a cookie and without a third party. What is stored is the path, the language, the device class and a visitor hash built from a salt that rotates daily. The salt is kept only in the server's memory, and the hash is removed from the rows the following day. Neither your IP address nor your browser identifier reaches the database.

Off means your browser sends nothing to /api/track at all. Nothing is blocked — it is simply never sent. Clicks on links that take you to a firm (through /go) are still counted by the server at the redirect (privacy policy, section 6).
This setting lives in this browser, on this device, only. We store nothing about it on our server and create no account. In another browser, a private window, or after clearing your browser data you will need to set it again.
What is stored on this device
This table is read straight from your browser when the page opens — it shows the actual state, not a description of it.
| Key | Kind | Purpose | Current value |
|---|---|---|---|
pc-theme | Local storage | Your choice between light and dark appearance | reading … |
pc-no-analytics | Local storage | Your objection to audience measurement | reading … |
pc-motion | Local storage | Your choice to switch animations off; only present if you switched them off | reading … |
pc-recent-search | Local storage | Your last five search terms in the search dialog (“Recent searches”); they stay in this browser and are never sent | reading … |
bp-locale | Cookie | Your language choice (a language code, e.g. en or fr) | reading … |
bp-country | Cookie | Your chosen country of residence (a country code), so that before sending you on to a firm we can check whether it accepts your country | reading … |
Clearing resets the appearance and your objection to audience measurement; the language cookie is set again the next time you switch language. Local deletion cannot revoke copied scenario links or exported files.
