PropCrab data report

What the prop firms' rules look like, counted from our records. Every figure with its n, every chart also as a table and CSV. No ranking, no score.

The crab only counts what is documented.

Who is in the dataset

Firms, programmes and account sizes by market and model. Counted is what is on sale today.

  • A firm with programmes in several markets or models counts in each group, so the firms column adds up to more than the number of firms.

List price per 1,000 of loss buffer

What USD 1,000 of room to lose in the evaluation costs at list price: median and middle half per model, one value per account size.

  • List price, never a promotion. For subscriptions the price of one month, so one-time and monthly prices are kept apart.
  • Buffer = account size times the maximum loss of the first evaluation phase, or the fixed amount the firm states. Programmes without an evaluation use the rule of the simulated account.
  • Activation fees are not included here; they are in the next section. A programme with a small purchase price and a fee after passing therefore looks cheap here.
  • 21 values in other currencies were converted to US dollars at the reference rate of 6 November 2026 (column "converted").

Activation fees

Some firms charge a fee after a passed evaluation before the "funded" simulated account starts. How often, and how much relative to the price.

Consistency rules

How many programmes limit the share of the profit a single strongest day may have: in the evaluation and in the "funded" simulated account.

  • Evaluation: "with rule" once a phase has one, "without rule" only when the firm states none for every phase. Programmes without an evaluation (instant, futures direct) count there as "no evaluation".

  • Counted is the rule that sets the loss buffer: the first evaluation phase's, or for programmes without an evaluation the simulated account's. What the types mean is in the methodology.

Payout frequency

How often you can request a payout in the "funded" simulated account, per the firm's rules, per programme.

  • PropCrab has observed the firms since 29 October 2026. Earlier months only hold changes the firms dated themselves and that we found in their sources. More entries in recent months therefore do not mean that more changed.

  • Counted is what we documented, not a complete list of the market. An incident is not a verdict on a firm; every entry is on the warning list with its source.

How the report is computed

  • Population: firms that are not closed, with their programmes on sale and the rules that apply to a purchase on the reference date. An account size is one row of the challenge table.
  • Firm statements only: counted are values from the firm's own sources (website, help centre, terms). A missing value, or one we know only from third parties, counts as unknown: never as 0 and never as "no".
  • Shares refer to the known values. How many are unknown is always shown next to them.
  • Median and quartiles: linear interpolation between ranks, as QUARTILE.INC in spreadsheets. n is the number of values, "firms" the number of firms behind them. A firm with many account sizes weighs more.
  • Currencies: amounts in other currencies are converted to US dollars at the reference rate of 6 November 2026. The "converted" column shows how many values that affects.
  • No ranking: the report names no firm, gives no score and orders no firm. It describes the dataset; it is not a recommendation and not investment advice.

Every figure as CSV

One file per chart, with the reference date in every row. Column names in English so scripts can read them; labels in your language.
