Calculator
Cost of repeat attempts
What two, three or five attempts cost in total. The crab only counts – it doesn't cheer you on.
Work out what further attempts would cost before you buy, not after the third purchase.
872 matching challenges.
Fills the fields with the firm's figures. Every field stays editable.
Money you could lose without it hurting. No more.
Cost after 5 attempts
US$2,500
Every attempt is paid in full, however close it was. Activation fees after passing are not included.
This calculator does not estimate chances or compute a probability of success. It only shows what each further attempt costs.
| Attempt | This attempt | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | US$500 | US$500 |
| 2 | US$500 | US$1,000 |
| 3 | US$500 | US$1,500 |
| 4 | US$500 | US$2,000 |
| 5 | US$500 | US$2,500 |
Note: A calculation aid using your own assumptions. Not investment advice and not a forecast of success: simulated profits are not income, and most challenges are not passed. The firm's rules that actually apply to your account govern.
How this is calculated
What is calculated
The first attempt costs the purchase price (on a subscription, times the months per attempt). Each further one costs either a reset at the firm's price or a new purchase. The table adds them up attempt by attempt.
What is deliberately missing
No probability of success, no "expected profit". No calculator can know how well you trade, and an estimate would turn a cost into a bet. Data on how many participants pass overall is in the risk box, with its source.
The budget
Decide beforehand how much you are willing to spend in total, and see how many attempts that covers. The dashed line in the chart is your budget.
