Phase 1: Challenge
- Profit target
2 %
Only closed positions count; all positions must be closed to complete the phase.
help.fortraders.com- Daily loss
3 %
from the higher of balance and equity at day start
Reset: 00:00 CE(S)T
a breach ends the account
The limit is a fixed percentage of the starting balance. At 00:00 CE(S)T the system takes the higher of balance and equity and subtracts this amount; the result is the floor for the day. Open and closed positions count; the breach occurs as soon as equity falls below it. The terms (1.1.9) instead describe a midnight reset based on the balance with server time GMT+3 (summer) / GMT+2 (winter); the help centre gives the server time as UTC+2 / UTC+1.
help.fortraders.com- Maximum loss
6 % · trailing (closed balance)
The floor follows the highest closed balance in real time.
Stops: The floor sits the percentage below the highest balance ever recorded (example 6%: high of USD 103,000 → floor USD 96,820) and never rises above the starting balance. Per For Traders a withdrawal counts as a loss (stated for the Fast Master account), so keep a cushion above the floor.
The programme article says the floor follows the highest balance reached ("as your equity grows"); the general article calculates from the highest balance.

Simulated account with profit shareSIM
"Funded" means here what the firm itself states below.
- Account type
Simulated account
Per the footer and the help centre all accounts are demo accounts with virtual money; Master accounts are explicitly not live accounts but run in a simulation with quotes from liquidity providers. For Traders reserves the right to use selected traders' strategies and data for trades with its own accounts in real markets. Payouts (performance rewards) are discretionary per the footer and terms, not guaranteed, and require For Traders to accept and license your trading data. One help article on the Instant account misleadingly speaks of a "live trading environment".

help.fortraders.com- Maximum loss
6 % · trailing (closed balance)
The floor follows the highest closed balance in real time.
Stops: The floor sits the percentage below the highest balance ever recorded (example 6%: high of USD 103,000 → floor USD 96,820) and never rises above the starting balance. Per For Traders a withdrawal counts as a loss (stated for the Fast Master account), so keep a cushion above the floor.
In the Master account the Drawdown Protection also applies: if the floating loss of your open positions reaches −2% of the starting balance, the first time all open trades are closed and your profit split is cut to 50%; the second time all trades are closed and the account is terminated.
help.fortraders.com- Consistency rule
≤ 20 % · best day ÷ total profit
payout waits until met
Master account only: your best day must stay below 20% of total profit; if it is above, you must keep trading until the share falls below 20%. For Traders' example: day 1 USD 200 profit = 100% of total; day 2 another USD 200 → best day = 50%, keep trading. Arithmetically you need at least best day ÷ 0.20 in total profit (above USD 1,000 for USD 200). For Traders names no account breach for it. For Traders' reasoning: consistent performance ("to maintain consistent performance").
help.fortraders.com- Trading days per payout
none
No minimum profitable days, neither in the challenge nor in the Master account.
help.fortraders.com- Profit split
80 %
help.fortraders.com- First payout
After passing you pay the activation fee and receive the Master account. Payout on demand once profit exceeds the buffer of 3% of the starting balance (25K USD 750, 50K USD 1,500, 100K USD 3,000, 200K USD 6,000; only profit above it can be withdrawn) and the consistency rule is met. KYC and contract only right before the first payout.
help.fortraders.com- Payout rhythm
on request
On demand. 48-hour guarantee: if the payout does not reach your wallet within 48 hours of the request (business days only), you get a 100% split for that payout. It requires approval by the risk team and compliance with all rules; the guarantee does not apply if a verification call or clarification is needed.
help.fortraders.com- Minimum payout
USD 100
Minimum withdrawable profit per the rules page; the 3% buffer must also remain.
fortraders.com- Cap per payout
At most USD 15,000 per payout cycle or request. Per the terms also at most USD 30,000 per "trade idea", and total allocation across all Master and Instant accounts is capped at USD 300,000.
help.fortraders.com- Payout fees
Payouts go to your For Traders wallet first (review by the risk team up to 48 hours, possibly with a verification call). From the wallet from USD 100: USD 100–399 by crypto transfer, fee USD 25; from USD 400 via Rise (bank transfer, crypto, local methods), fee USD 50. Wallet funds can also be used to buy new challenges.
help.fortraders.com- Fee refund
no refund
The fee bonus with the fourth payout explicitly does not apply to Instant and Pay After Pass accounts.
help.fortraders.com- Scaling
No per-account scaling plan published. The Loyalty Club lists for each rank (Starter 1,000 XP, Rising Star 2,000, Pro 10,000, VIP 50,000, Legend 100,000) a "Scaling Increment" of 0%, 0%, 2%, 5% and 10%, plus cashback 1–3%, profit share +1% to +10%, drawdown +1% to +2% and profit target −1% to −2% (from Pro), without explaining what the values apply to. The home page mentions up to USD 300,000 allocation for Gold Tier traders in the "Premium Program" and an initial maximum of USD 100,000; the terms and the help centre give USD 300,000 as the cap for everyone.
fortraders.com- Inactivity
Inactive after 30 days without meaningful trading activity, in the challenge and the Master account. Counted from the moment a position is closed; minimal trades only to reset the timer (e.g. 0.01 lots) do not count as meaningful activity. An inactive account is terminated.
help.fortraders.com
Trading rules
- News trading
restricted
Challenge: news trading without restriction. Master account: you may hold positions through news, but may not open new trades from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a high-impact release (e.g. rate decision, FOMC minutes, CPI, NFP). Profits from trades opened inside this 10-minute window do not count (no violation); trades opened at least 5 minutes before do count.
help.fortraders.com- Holding overnight
allowed
fortraders.com- Holding over the weekend
allowed
fortraders.com- EAs / bots
restricted
Expert Advisors only as decision support (alerts, position sizing, partial closes under your supervision); EAs or bots that open, manage or close trades on their own are prohibited, as are emulators. Every trade must be held for at least 5 seconds. The FAQ says broadly "EAs are allowed".
help.fortraders.com- Copy trading
restricted
Only copying from your For Traders account to your own external accounts is allowed. Copying from external accounts into a For Traders account is prohibited, as is trading by or for third parties (terms 11.2). The FAQ, in contrast, allows copying between your own For Traders accounts "within the stated limits".
help.fortraders.com- Hedging
restricted
Opposite positions in the same instrument across several For Traders accounts are prohibited. The terms (11.1) also prohibit simultaneous opposite positions used to manipulate demo trading, e.g. a full-margin position in both directions.
help.fortraders.com- Leverage
Forex 1:125 · Indices 1:20 · Commodities 1:40 · Crypto 1:2
Challenge values. Master account per the rules page, the markets page and the current leverage article: forex 1:30, indices 1:10, commodities 1:10; forex 1:40 applied, per a separate article, to accounts bought before 8 Jun 2026. The plan data of the rules page still hold 1:40 or 1:125 for some Master accounts, and the FAQ says "Up to 1:100 on forex". Selected crypto pairs trade at 1:2 on forex accounts.

Paid challenge on a simulated account · the fee is usually lost when a rule is broken · firms are generally not supervised · CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage.
