OANDA Prop Trader

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 2 March 2026, OANDA is moving its prop business OANDA Prop Trader into the FTMO Group, which had acquired OANDA the year before; migration began on 2 March 2026. According to the report, OANDA is focusing on its brokerage business.

What it meant for customers

According to OANDA, clients who do not move to FTMO receive full refunds "where applicable"; active clients who move receive incentives.

SeacrestFunded / MyFundedFX

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 4 February 2026, Seacrest Markets is ending its prop trading to focus on its CFD brokerage; all prop accounts and open positions were to be closed on 6 February 2026. According to the report, MyFundedFX had been renamed SeacrestFunded in 2025. Futures prop trading continued for now through MyFunded Futures, the report says.

What it meant for customers

According to the report, holders of active, unbreached challenge accounts could request a full fee refund via a form by 28 February 2026, and "funded" account holders their final payout via the dashboard. Processing within 30 days; giveaway accounts and breached or inactive accounts were excluded.

FundingTicks

What happened

FundingTicks, a futures prop firm, announced in January 2026 that it was winding down its operations "as a strategic decision"; the notice is still on fundingticks.com. According to Finance Magnates on 19 January 2026, the move followed a backlash against new trading rules introduced in December 2025, including a one-minute minimum trade hold, higher daily profit requirements and lower profit splits.

What it meant for customers

According to FundingTicks' notice: all active evaluation and Master accounts are refunded in full. Master accounts that reached the profit target and met the trading objectives receive an 80% reward split; those in profit that had not yet met the objectives receive 20%. Live accounts in profit: refund, 90% of realised profit and 20% of the initial live balance; at the initial balance: refund and 20%; in loss: refund only. According to the FAQ, FundingTicks' standard fees and any network, card or bank fees apply to refunds and rewards. Support remained available until 31 January.

Propel Capital

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 19 August 2025, Propel Capital (UK) closed after 14 months; CEO Mitchell Ali cited price competition in the industry, and the website was offline. Companies House filings from December 2024 cited by Finance Magnates showed just over £3,000 in assets against more than £150,000 in liabilities.

What it meant for customers

According to the announcement, no more payments are processed and all trading is halted; clients "who qualify" are to be refunded.

Funded Unicorn

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 3 July 2025, Funded Unicorn (Germany) ceased operations. In a message to users the firm cited "massive losses" and "bureaucratic hurdles". According to a blog cited by Finance Magnates, the firm mirrored its "funded" traders' trades in the real market (A-book model).

Ascetic Capital

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 3 December 2024, Ascetic Capital closed about one week after launch. The firm wrote that it had sold only four challenges in its first week, after which investors pulled out.

Smart Prop Trader

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 28 November 2024, Smart Prop Trader stopped onboarding new traders from 27 November 2024 and announced a wind-down by 29 December 2024; it hinted at a new product. On 3 November 2026 smartproptrader.com showed a different offer (broker access called SmartProfitFX), not a prop offer.

What it meant for customers

According to the firm: regular payouts until 29 December 2024; full refunds for November 2024 accounts at break-even or above; individual resolution plans for accounts in good standing after 29 December 2024.

Funded Friends

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 30 September 2024, Funded Friends announced over the preceding weekend that it would cease operations and be acquired by its competitor TradingFunds. CEO Arjo Janssens cited a wish to focus on education; according to him there were no liquidity or payout problems.

What it meant for customers

According to the announcement: full refunds for all active accounts, plus vouchers worth the account value for TradingFunds; profits on "funded" accounts were to be paid out even without the usual minimum requirements.

Gold Fund Trader (GFund Technologies)

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 13 September 2024, Gold Fund Trader (GFund Technologies, UAE) announced its permanent closure about five months after starting. The firm cited launch delays, the withdrawal of an investor and a lack of liquidity; it said it had sold $600 worth of evaluations.

What it meant for customers

According to the firm there were 90 active accounts but no "funded" accounts and no pending payouts; 158 of 160 accounts came from giveaways.

MPFunds

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 10 September 2024, MPFunds (Singapore) ceased operations. CEO Dean Wong cited regulatory developments in Singapore and the termination of all services by the firm's bank.

What it meant for customers

According to Finance Magnates, MPFunds gave no information on compensation. Prop Firm Match offered free challenge accounts, depending on account status, to users who had uploaded proof of purchase.

Indigo Trader Funding

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 21 August 2024, Indigo Trader Funding (UK) confirmed on X on 20 August 2024 that it had ceased trading and ended all agreements tied to its evaluation model. According to Finance Magnates, the company had been struck off the UK companies register the day before; it had applied for the strike-off on 12 August 2024.

According to the statement, any remaining funds controlled by the operating partners were to be used to refund active (paid-for) accounts.

Funds For Traders

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 15 August 2024, Funds For Traders announced on X that it was ceasing all operations. The firm named Eightcap's notice that it would no longer support MetaTrader 4 and 5 for prop trading as the reason.

According to Finance Magnates, the firm told users with active challenges that they would be contacted and supported.

Karma Prop Traders

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 12 August 2024, Karma Prop Traders announced the end of operations over the preceding weekend, about two months after launch. Founder Eshan Balapatabendi cited a promised technology solution that never arrived and incorrectly implemented risk checks; undetected "cheaters" had left the firm without liquidity.

What it meant for customers

According to Finance Magnates, efforts were underway to ensure payouts to traders who generated their profits legitimately. According to Finance Magnates on 11 September 2024, Sway Funded then took over the accounts and outstanding withdrawals.

Funded Engineer

What happened

On 7 February 2024 the technology provider FPFX Technologies, according to Finance Magnates, terminated its licence and all services for Funded Engineer. According to FX News Group on 15 July 2024, the firm replaced its website with a notice: Funded Engineer was closing permanently with immediate effect and would file for bankruptcy.

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 5 July 2024, Stocknet Institute (UK) announced on 4 July 2024 that it was winding down the SI World prop business "with the goal of permanently closing". SurgeTrader

According to Finance Magnates and FX News Group on 26 May 2024, SurgeTrader (Florida) lost its Match-Trader licence from Match-Trade Technologies after losing MetaTrader access. On 24 May 2024 the firm stated on X and on its website that it had "closed and ceased all operations".

According to FX News Group on 6 February 2024, True Forex Funds (Hungary) halted operations after MetaQuotes, according to the firm's notice, terminated its MT4/MT5 licences. According to Finance Magnates on 13 May 2024, the firm announced on its website that it was closing permanently due to financial insolvency; the (undated) notice is still online.

My Forex Funds (Traders Global Group Inc.)

What happened

On 29 August 2023 the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) issued a temporary order that Traders Global Group Inc. (myforexfunds.com) and Murtuza Kazmi cease all trading in securities; the order lists suspicions, including possible fraud and trading without registration. The same day a US federal court, on a CFTC complaint, froze the assets and appointed a temporary receiver. According to Finance Magnates on 14 May 2025, the court dismissed the CFTC complaint with prejudice on 13 May 2025 and sanctioned the CFTC. According to Wealth Professional on 10 December 2025, the OSC had not issued a formal notice of allegations; the court order indicated that its investigation was ongoing.

Rev One Trading

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 21 August 2026, Angelo Ciaramello, founder of The Funded Trader, wrote on X that the futures prop firm Rev One Trading had been shut down the week before; not having a top platform option had hurt its ability to scale. According to the report he gave no information on active subscriptions or outstanding payouts. On 3 November 2026 revonetrading.com still showed an offer page ("Rev One Flex"); we have not checked whether it sells or who runs it.

ATFunded (ATFX)

What happened

ATFunded, the prop business of the CFD broker ATFX, has paused operations for a "full review of the business"; the notice is still on atfunded.com. According to Finance Magnates on 6 June 2026, ATFX had launched the prop business in October 2024.

What it meant for customers

According to the notice, all customers with active accounts receive a full refund of their purchase, and "funded" traders with eligible profits are paid according to the rules. MT5 was set to close-only; open trades had to be closed by 1pm EST on the day of the notice.

Funded Nation

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 9 December 2024, Funded Nation announced on 6 December 2024 that it was suspending "all sales and trading activities" for 45 days; CEO Karthik S. Rajanna cited a major dashboard upgrade. fundednation.com could not be reached on 3 November 2026.

According to the firm, pending payouts were to be processed within a week; anyone unwilling to wait could request a refund.

Traddoo

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 11 September 2024, Traddoo temporarily suspended new challenge purchases while it introduced a new client dashboard (CEO Dylan Worrall on Discord). traddoo.com could not be reached on 3 November 2026.

The Funded Trader (TFT)

What happened

According to FX News Group on 14 March 2024, The Funded Trader stopped payouts; the firm spoke of a self-imposed internal audit of all payouts. Before that, the comparison site Prop Firm Match had suspended the firm, citing, according to FX News Group, a significant number of complaints and instances of payout denials. On 28 March 2024 TFT paused all operations and its website showed only a notice (FX News Group, 28 March 2024).

What it meant for customers

According to Finance Magnates on 21 August 2024, TFT said it had sent 30% of the payouts owed to traders and 70% of the accounts owed. According to Finance Magnates on 12 September 2024, traders had been waiting for their money since 28 March 2024; TFT told them by email whether their payout qualified.

Skilled Funded Trader (SFT)

What happened

According to Finance Magnates on 29 March 2024, Skilled Funded Trader, controlled by Easton Consulting Technologies, "temporarily ceased all operations, including new purchases", at the same time as The Funded Trader paused. According to Finance Magnates on 5 July 2024, the firm had since gone completely dark.
